Join Baltimore filmmaker sensation Matt Porterfield (Putty HillHamilton) for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of watching Andy Warhol”s dual projector Chelsea Girls (1966, 200 min, directed with Paul Morrissey).

Inspired by Nico”s debut album of the same name, Chelsea Girls was Warhol”s first major commercial success after a long line of avant-garde films. Shot at the Hotel Chelsea and around New York, the film follows the lives of several of the young women who live there, including many of Warhol”s superstars.

Presented in split screen with alternating soundtracks and alternation between black and white and color photography, you will probably never get this screening opportunity again! So come on down, have a few drinks, and enjoy the ride. Come dressed as a Chelsea Girl (or guy)! 60”s mod attire encouraged. Cocktail specials at the bar! 7pm. $12, $7 mbrs.
